Its Globally Organized Hug a Runner Day (aka GOHARD)!

Although we can’t extend a physical hug, we’d love to share a helpful tip:

Researchers have found that running with a narrow stride, i.e., on a line, can lead to iliotibial band (ITB) pain.

The solution: “Increasing step width during running, especially in persons whose running style is characterized by a narrow step width, may be beneficial in the treatment and prevention of running-related ITB syndrome.”
